HEAD COACH

RIGHT TO DREAM, INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

We are currently seeking a Head Coach for our International Academy (IA) - a critical programme that bridges academy football and the professional game across our global network. You will lead the IA technical team in delivering a structured, high-quality coaching programme that reflects the RTD style of play and supports the holistic development of student-athletes, helping them reach their fullest potential.

This role is hands-on, strategic and globally oriented, working within the Right to Dream (RTD) culture and translating the Group’s global football strategy into impactful delivery at the IA level. You will be a coach who sees development as a long game and takes pride in preparing players not just to play professionally, but to sustain a professional career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be responsible for leading the IA squad and technical staff, specifically:

    • Lead season planning in collaboration with the IA Operations & Administration Lead, Group Head of Talent and Pathways, and Group Technical Director, aligned to technical, pathway, and operational priorities.
    • Lead all training sessions and the match-day programme in line with the learning plans and curriculum, delivering the quality needed to take players closer to Right to Dream (RTD) first teams.
    • Lead all analysis sessions together with the IA Analyst and assistant coaches.
    • Provide day-to-day technical leadership and coordination of coaching staff, with line management responsibility for direct reports and functional leadership across the wider coaching group, working closely with specialist and medical teams to ensure aligned player development and welfare.
    • Ensure the International Academy operates as a consistently elite environment, embedding best-practice standards across all areas in partnership with the Group Technical Director, Football Function, and club/academy Technical Directors.
    • Lead the pursuit of “winning deep” within RTD’s culture, fostering high performance while actively ensuring psychological safety for players and staff.
    • Spend time during the year at SDFC, FC Masar and FCN first-team training sessions to build relationships and a deep understanding of “the demands of the game” for young players.
    • Build and sustain a close working relationship with the FCN, FC Masar and SDFC first-team Head Coaches to ensure technical alignment, shared learning, and inspiration across RTD.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with Technical Directors across RTD academies (Denmark, Ghana, USA, and Egypt), driving alignment, knowledge exchange, and cross-academy initiatives.
    • Follow trends in the international game to bring new knowledge and ideas into the club.
